The Maghreb Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade Signs a MOU with the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises

The Maghreb Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade (BMICE) and the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) signed, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in Casablanca, Morocco, at the headquarters of the Confederation, a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening investment and trade among the countries of the Maghreb.

The Memorandum was signed by Mr. Kamal HABBACHI, Deputy General Manager , of the Maghreb Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade, and Mr. Chakib ALJ, President of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), in the presence of representatives of both institutions.

This Memorandum reflects the strong commitment of both parties to enhancing cooperation and facilitating Moroccan companies’ access to the financing required for business-structuring projects, with a particular focus on sectors that hold high potential for regional integration.

The initiative also embodies the shared vision of both institutions to build a more integrated and competitive Maghreb economy by supporting partnerships and strengthening cooperation among economic stakeholders across the region, thereby opening new horizons for growth and innovation at the regional level.
